Organisers have announced that they will be offering festival fans across Scotland FREE BUS TRAVEL to T in the Park which returns to Strathallan Castle in Perthshire over full three days from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th July 2016.
The offer is available from any T in the Park Citylink departure point in Scotland, if buying a weekend camping ticket, in the next ten days - until midnight on Sunday 8th May. The festival’s #makingT campaign has been informing fans of the changes that event organisers have made since last year’s festival and the team are so confident in the bus being the best option for getting to and from the festival that they have decided to put their money where their mouths are and cover the fans’ bus fares to and from T in the Park.
Festival Director Geoff Ellis, speaking at today’s event said, "Our fans are our number one priority and we've listened to all of their feedback from last year and now we're putting that firmly into action. We know the bus will be the best way to travel to T in the Park this year and so we're showing how confident we are that these changes will work, we are inviting our fans to get the bus on us! We want T in the Park 2016 to be a year to remember for all the right reasons – brilliant music and outstanding entertainment enjoyed with your best mates. We're bringing the legendary T in the Park atmosphere back!"
T goers who have already secured their weekend camping ticket plus return travel to and from the festival via an official Citylink bus will not miss out – an offer exclusive to them means organisers will provide them with a weekend Refresh wristband.
The 23rd edition sees the event for 92,000 music fans return to Strathallan Castle in Perthshire over full three days from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th July 2016.
Citizen T is back and this year with the support of Mr T. Following on from the last three year's success the Citizen T manifesto encourages positive community behaviour at T in the Park. It simply involves festival goers looking after each other and their fellow campers, binning their litter, taking the tent home, enjoying the festival whilst remembering to stay safe.
T in the Park's changes to 2016’s festival, include the campsite. Improvements include a significant increase in size, colour-coded zones, more live entertainment and food outlets, better signage and 24hr dedicated management teams.
The campsite opens on Thursday 7th July which means you can take advantage of an extra day of festival fun with a Thursday camping ticket, which includes entertainment including Band-A-Oke, The Stand Comedy Club, Club Noir, Slam DJs and Hot Dub Time Machine, and the fairground.
This year there will be separate road access for buses and cars, a new bus depot with over 40 stands, a well-managed dedicated pick up and drop off area, and a New Traffic Manager supported by experienced staff.
