Festival No. 6 taking place in Portmeirion, Wales returning for a fifth year in 2016 from Thursday 1st until Sunday 4th September 2016, has today announced the line-up for their PRS for Music partnered Lost in the Woods stage.
PRS for Music has also curated the stage each day between noon and 3pm showcasing Melt Yourself Down, Fickle Friends, Pumarosa, and Beach Baby. Each evening a promoter will take over on the atmospheric secret stage.
Friday sees the Lost in the Woods crew themselves programme the stage featuring Bill Ryder Jones, Younghusband, Wesley Gonzalez, and Horsebeach.
Saturday sees Hey! Manchester step to the plate with The Wave Pictures, The Lovely Eggs, Trembling Bells, Laura J Martin, and Mother.
Liverpool’s legendary Evol takeover on the last night of the festival Crazy P, The Vryll Society, Lying Bastards, and a UK festival exclusive from Bathing, the new electronic side-project from Ryan Smith, guitarist in Caribou.
The festival is famed for it's quirky setting - the location for the cult 60's TV series The Prisoner, hence the name being a reference to the show, and 2016 marks 40 years since Dr. Who was filmed at Portmeirion and 50 years since filming of The Prisoner started, and DJ Yoda will celebrate both anniversaries with a very special themed DJ Yoda does Sci-Fi Portmeirion audio-visual spectacular.
Headlining proceedings on Friday night are Bastille, headlining Saturday night will be Hot Chip, and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will be closing the festival. Also appearing will be live acts including Aurora, Blossoms, C Duncan, Django Django, Echo and the Bunnymen, Frances, Gwenno, JP Cooper, Lawrence Taylor, Lucy Rose, Ngod , Oh Wonder, Oscar, Roots Manuva, Roisin Murphy, The Amazons, and This Is The Kit. No.6 composer-in-residence Joe Duddell, joins up with Manchester Camerata Chamber Orchestra on an exclusive David Bowie Reimagined performance, with very special guest vocalists on each song.
The first of the DJ line-up is also unveiled including A Love from Outer Space: Andrew Weatherall & Sean Johnston, Craig Charles, Fleetmac Wood, Joy Orbison, Kate Simko & The London Electronic Orchestra, Optimo (Until the Music Stops), Smooth Sailing presents Kaftan Discotheque, and The 2 Bears.

Portmeirion was constructed between 1925 and 1975 by architect Sir Clough Williams-Ellis and the village is a bizarre and elaborate interpretation of a Mediterranean villa.
Bands, DJs, musicians and string ensembles will be performing across the entire site, from the historic town hall to the Colonnade gardens to the picturesque Bay Stage and the promenade along the sandy beached estuary of the River Dwyryd.
Festival goers can also expect comedy, poetry, pop up-theatre, intimate readings, film screenings, woodland trails, art installations, pop up woodland raves, lectures and discussions, unique collaborations, the voices of a male voice choir, processions, The Prisoner reconstructions, and more.
Be seeing you.
