Primal Scream cancel headline shows at Beat-Herder and Secret Garden Party

after singer injures himself falling off stage in Switzerland

Primal Scream have tweeted (here) that they have had cancel their headline slots at Beat-Herder and Secret Garden Party, after frontman Bobby Gillespie was told to rest for a "minimum of 8 weeks", following falling off stage at Switzerland's Caribana festival last Thursday.

Organisers of both events have not yet announced who will replace them as headliners. They were also due to top the bill at festivals in Spain, Ireland, France, Italy and Sweden.
