With just over a week to go Kendal Calling has announced their Chai Wallahs line-up. Appearing over the weekend of Thursday 28th to Sunday 31st July 2016 will be The Diplomats of Sound DJs, Dr Meaker, General Skank, Horseman and the Upper Cut Band, ChainSka Brassika, Conservatoire Folk Ensemble, Agbeko, Dojo, Rews, Cheshire and the Cat, The Gin Bowlers, Hot Feet, Soom T, Gringo Ska, Solko, Shanty, Jalen N'Gonda, Will Varley, Sam Brookes, Daytoner, Akua Naru, Cul De Sac, Spinx, Sam Green & The Midnight Heist, Time for T, and Potts Music.
With the day splits announced for the weekend. Also confirmed for this independent festival that offers more than just music, with 4 days of arts installations, comedy, gourmet food, kid’s entertainment and a real ale festival in the picturesque grounds of Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, in the Lake District are comedians Bobby Mair, David Longley, Peter Brush, Seymour Mace, Phil Ellis, Leo Kearse, Justin Moorhouse, Rob Mulholland, George Rigden, Pete Otway, Danny McLoughlin, Mickey P Kerr, Jonny Awsum, Stephen Carlin, Jollyboat, Ray Peacock, Musical Bingo, Last Man Standing, and Thom Foole with his house party.

Tickets are priced at £130. A teen (aged 11-15 years) weekend camping monthly payment ticket is priced at £75, and a child (aged 6-10 years) weekend camping ticket is priced at £17.50. A child aged 5 years and under weekend camping ticket is free. Prices include booking fee. Last year's the festival sold out in March.
