The acts have been announced for the Friday night at Victorious Festival, which happens on Southsea Seafront, Hampshire from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th August 2018 (the August bank holiday weekend).

With all of the Friday night live action happening in the main arena next year, there's an indie party of The Libertines, Kaiser Chiefs, Shed Seven, and Lightning Seeds.

Said festival director Andy Marsh: "Our Friday night opening party was such a hit last year it made sense to do it again but make it even better. We’ve gone for a solid line-up of absolute indie legends, it’s going to be a brilliant night and with tickets from just £25 you’d be mad to miss it! We’re going to announce the full weekend bill very shortly – and it’s going to be spectacular – but we couldn’t wait to reveal Friday, it’s going to be some party!"

Friday’s opening party will start at 4pm and close at 11pm. The event includes the Common Stage Arena and Seaside Stage Arena. Families are welcome but please note, there will be no Kids Arena.
