The Cure with a 40th anniversary show - their only European show of 2018 - are the latest act confirmed to headline a day of British Summer Time go on sale at 9am. They'll appear on Saturday 7th July at the festival, which takes place at Hyde Park, London.
Joining Robert Smith and co on the day will be special guests Interpol, Goldfrapp, Ride, Editors, Slowdive, and The Twilight Sad, with more to be announced.
Jim King of promoter AEG Presents said "The Cure playing at Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park will be an incredible day where The Cure join the list of other global legends who have played the Great Oak Stage. On July 7 we celebrate the 40th anniversary of a truly iconic British band and it’s an honour that they have chosen to share this magical experience with us in Hyde Park."
Tickets will go on sale from 9am this Friday, 15th December, priced from £62.95.

Previously confirmed for British Summer Time 2018 are Roger Waters on Friday 6th July with tickets priced at £65, Eric Clapton on Sunday 8th July, Michael Buble on Friday 13th July with tickets priced from £69.75, and Bruno Mars on Saturday 14th July with tickets priced at £75.95.
