The first acts including headliners have been announced for Wychwood Festival, which returns for its 14th year to Cheltenham Racecourse, in Gloucestershire from Friday 1st until Sunday 3rd June 2018, during the summer half-term holiday.
Top of the names for Saturday night are kings of flamenco, salsa and pop infusion The Gipsy Kings ft Nicolas Reyes & Tonino Baliardo, while the Friday is headlined by Baxter Dury, and on Sunday its Britpop stalwarts Shed Seven.
Other acts over the weekend include The Go! Team, the return of The Beat ft Ranking Roger, as well as Feeder, Ten Tonnes, Nina Nesbitt, Lucia, and The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican. There's many more acts still to be announced.
Alongside the music, Wychwood's programme of arts, culture and family activities returns, from World Class Street Theatre, comedy shows, thought-provoking talks, and story-telling from leading children's authors, all ages have been catered for. There's plenty of workshops to take part in too, learn a new skill in the crafts area, try your hand at circus skills, sing your heart out, or practice your swing moves and dazzle on the dance floor. Those looking to relax and rejuvenate can head over to the Wellbeing area where expert therapists are on hand offering an array of massage therapies and yoga classes for all ages and abilities.
Tickets are on sale, currently priced at £137.50 for an adult , £112.50 for concessions, £72.50 for a 10-15 yr old or £27.50 for a 5-9 yr old. Under 5s can go free.
Camping must be purchased as a separate ticket, and is priced at £27.50 for adults, £18.50 for concessions and is free for under 16s but must be purchased.
Day tickets are available, priced at £47 for Friday, £61 for Saturday, and £51 for Sunday.
A campervan/caravan pass is £45.
