After a year off, the family friendly Larmer Tree Festival returns, from Thursday 19th to Sunday 22nd July 2018, still at Larmer Tree Gardens on Cranborne Chase, on the Dorset/Wiltshire border.
In recognition of the centenary of women's suffrage - today - there's a women-heavy announcement with six out of today's ten acts either women or female fronted. With that in mind, Saturday's Main Stage headliners will Swedish sister act First Aid Kit. The 2nd headliner revealed today is the non-female (just in case you didn't know :P) Jake Bugg.
Also announced are tUne-yArDs, Susanne Sundfor, Nadine Shah, Elephant Sessions, Chris Wood, Naaz, Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker, and Seamus Fogarty.
Creative Director Sarah Dennehy says "It’s an honour to be involved with this longstanding, independent, super cool little Festival. And stoked to announce our first wave of acts; but there’s much more to be announced over the coming months, with one or two surprises!"
Many more acts will be announced over the coming weeks. Expect over 100 acts performing including a comedy club family activities.
