Paul Weller, and The Prodigy have been announced as headliners for Victorious 2018, on the Saturday and Sunday respectively. The festival will take place on Southsea Seafront, from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th August, a bank holiday weekend.
On the Saturday before Paul Weller will be previously self-confirmed Paloma Faith, while also playing on the Saturday are Happy Mondays, Everything Everything, Billy Bragg, Gaz Coombes, The Pigeon Detectives, Sleeper, Gabrielle Aplin, Coasts, Cabbage, Yonaka, Mullally, Duke Special, Barry Hyde, and The Southsea Alternative Choir.
Sunday's supporting cast for Prodigy's UK festival exclusive show on the Common Stage will include Years & Years as Castle Stage headliners, and also playing on Sunday are Friendly Fires, Example & DJ Wire, Embrace, Gomez, The Amazons, Reverend And The Makers, The Bluetones, Tom Walker, Lucy Spraggan, Gengahr, The Orielles, Chris Helme, and Jerry Williams.
Festival Director Andy Marsh said: "We’re tremendously excited about this year’s festival. We were determined to pull out all the stops and deliver something incredible and I’m proud to say I think it’s our best line-up yet. With plenty more to announce in the coming months it’s safe to say Victorious 2018 is going to be truly spectacular, we can’t wait."
The Friday line-up was previously announced as The Libertines, Kaiser Chiefs, Shed Seven, and Lightning Seeds.
