Catfish & The Bottlemen, Run DMC, and The Libertines - with Hacienda Classical on the Thursday - have been revealed as the headliners for Kendal Calling which takes place at Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, Cumbria from Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th July 2018.
Festival Director, Andy Smith comments: "We're thrilled to be heading into our 13th year and can't wait to head back to the beautiful Lake District for another weekend of music, art, food and a couple of Kend-ales. We're lucky to have one of our biggest lineups ever and can't wait to welcome hip hop royalty Run DMC to the festival alongside our other headliners Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Libertines and Hacienda Classical. See you in the fields!"
Joining the headliners will be James, Ocean Colour Scene, Shed Seven, The Sherlocks, White Lies, The Wailers, Declan McKenna, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Peter Hook and the Light, The Slow Readers Club, The Amazons, Lucy Spraggan, Tom Grennan, Dub Pistols, Marmozets, Pale Waves, The Lancashire Hotpots, Hollie Cook, The Orielles, Black Honey, Sam Fender, PINS, The Blinders, Yonaka, Anteros, Marsicans, Low Island, Jordan Allen, Plastic Mermaids, Bang Bang Romeo, Cruel World, Whenyoung, Molly Warburton, The Lucid Dream, Wolfpeake, Rosborough, Paradisa, Late Night Legacy, Serene, and Pariahs.
On the Glow Stage there'll be Basement Jaxx (DJ set), Gorgon City (DJ set), Idris Elba, Grandmaster Flash, MistaJam, Hospitality Take Over, Horse Meat Disco, Wookie, Super Hans, GotSome, Deadbeat UK, and Cousn.
Woodlands has Elvana, The Beat-sie Boys, London Astrobeat Orchestra Performs: Talking Heads, Saytr Play, 100 Fables, The K's, Rats, brownbear, No Hot Ashes, North Atlas, The Lottery Winners, Citrus Heights, and Scarlet.
In Chai Wallahs you'll find DJ Format & MC Abdominal, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, Friendly Fire Band, Animanz, Grinny Grandad, Joncan Kavlakoglu, Kiriki Club, Lost Tuesday Society, Snazzback, Soul Grenades, Conservatoire Folk Ensemble, Wrongtom, Horseman, King Lorenzo, and Solo Banton & The Upper Cut Band.
Riot Jazz presents Odwana, Smoggy Riddum, Felix Hagan And The Family, The Thingumajigs, and The Templebys.
