The first acts have been revealed for Tiree Music Festival, which takes place on Tiree, on the Inner Hebrides of Scotland from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th July 2018.
Confirmed for the festival are:- Skipinnish, Skerryvore, Wolfstone, Martyn Joseph, Brian Hughes & The Lonesharks, and Tiree Song Book - Feat Mary Ann Kennedy.
The festival has also announced a new Elevate Stage, which will showcase the best of up-and-coming Scottish artists. This stage will be curated by a Youth Artistic Programmer, Jamie MacDonald, who has recently graduated with first class BA Honours in Applied Music. He had this to say regarding his appointment:
“I am so delighted to have been appointed as the Youth Programmer for Tiree Music Festival. As a local to Tiree I have always attended the festival, whether as part of the crowd or playing as part of my own band, so it is a huge honour to be given this opportunity to become part of the organising team. I can’t wait to get started!”
Acts announced for the new Elevate Stage are:- Elephant Sessions, RuRa, Trail West, Ho-Ro, Hannah Rarity, Calum Mackenzie-Jones, Beinn Lee Ceilidh Band, and Cornaig Ceilidh Band.
Early bird tickets have sold out. Full price tickets will be on sale Thursday 1st March at 1pm.
Tickets will be priced as follows:-
adult (18+): £85
concession / student: £75
under-18: £60
under-8s: free but need ticket
camping: £25
campervan: from £99
