More acts have been revealed for the 4-day Shrewsbury Folk Festival which takes place from Friday 24th until Monday 27th August 2018 at the West Mid Showground, Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel (pictured above) will headline the Friday night, while Xose Manuel Budino has been announced to close the festival on Monday.
Other announced acts include:- Edgelarks, Johnny Coppin and Phil Beer, Yola Carter, Will Pound's Through The Seasons, and A Different Thread.
They join a line-up that already features:- Richard Thompson Electric Trio, Steeleye Span, Turin Brakes, Show of Hands, Jon Boden and The Remnant Kings, Usher's Island, Gretchen Peters, Daoirí Farrell Trio, Peter Knight's Gigspanner Big Band, The Fitzgeralds, and more.

Director Sandra Surtees commented on the announcement:
"Budiño is renowned for his high energy performance and the band will undoubtedly close the festival in style. They play to enormous crowds around the world and it's a real coup to tempt them to Shrewsbury.
"We hope the eclectic line up and addition of popular acts like Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel will encourage more people to come and experience this world class festival tucked away in a corner of Shropshire!"

adult weekend no camping: £140
adult weekend with camping: £165
Family, youth, child, and day tickets are also available.
