The first acts have been revealed for Byline Festival, which will take place at Pippingford Park in East Sussex from Friday 24th to Monday 27th August 2018.
The announced headliners are Badly Drawn Boy (pictured above) on Friday and Pussy Riot on Saturday, with Sunday's headliner still to be confirmed.
Other acts announced include, by day:
Friday:- Tessa Pollit, Sasha and the Shades, Kings And Castles, Jazz Riot, The Gulps, Frankie Forman, Nathan Evans, Alex Drew, Will Purdue and Liza Beck, Delphis, and The Cut.
Saturday:- The Blow Monkeys, The Vapors, Rhoda Dakar, The Members, Department S, The Priscillas, Mark Anthony, The Kar-Pets, Phoenix Chroi, Shining, Arcade Hearts, Let it Run On, Lee Bains III and the Glory Fires, Amy Odell, Powerdress, Miss V, Another Eden, Drew, Hemingway, Maziz, DJ Becky Bird, Black Zephyr, and Foxer.
Sunday:- Courtesans, Dramarama, Deltorers, Seething Akira, Bel Esprit, Modulus Quartet, Cult with No Name, Kat & Co, Tasmin Quin, Argonaut, Joe Burke, Another Eden, Hen Ni Linnea, Mercury Heart, and Hows Harry.
Many more acts are still to be announced, for a total over 120.
As well as music, the festival will also feature speakers, including:- John Cleese, June Sarpong, Hugh Grant, Bonnie Greer, Alexei Sayle, Kate Mosse, Gary Lineker, A.L. Kennedy, Hardeep Singh Kohli, Joanna Scanlan and Andy Hamilton, as well as a spoken performance by Badly Drawn Boy.
Other entertainment comes in the form of rap battles, art sessions, sexy vegetable competitions, morris dancing, open mic sessions, workshops, rock climbing, forest games, a woodland spa, and more.
An early bird 4-day ticket is priced at £95 for adults, £65 for students, £68 for 18-30yr olds, £12 for ages 12-17, and £8.50 for ages 4-11. The full price is £120 for adults, £30 for ages 12-17 and £20 for ages 4-11.
