More acts have been revealed for Coventry Godiva Festival, which takes place at War Memorial Park, in Coventry, from Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September 2018.

Jake Bugg (pictured above) has been announced as the Friday headliner. The singer-songwriter recently recorded a song called "Waiting" with Noah Cyrus, and released his latest album "Hearts that Strain" in September 2017.

Speaking about the festival, Jake said:

"I’m looking forward to playing Godiva Festival with some of my favourite artists on the same bill."

Also newly announced are Kyle Falconer, and Rae Morris, both performing on Saturday's Rhythm stage.

Councillor Abdul Khan, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Events said:

“It’s exciting that we can announce our Friday headliner and two additional acts for this year’s Godiva as the build-up continues to our 20th anniversary. I know many people will already have the dates in their diaries and I’m sure this year’s event will be as popular as ever as we continue the build up to UK City of Culture 2021.”

The new acts join Sunday headliner Ronan Keating, with Saturday featuring:- Jonas Blue, Gabrielle, Professor Green, Little Comets, and Blood Red Shoes.

Saturday's headliner is still to be announced, as well as the undercard for Friday and Sunday.

Coventry Godiva Festival is free to attend.
