German rock legends Scorpions have been revealed as the Sunday night headliner for next year's edition of independent metal festival Bloodstock, which takes place at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire between Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th August 2019.

Excited to be heading to Catton Park for the first time, the band say "We are very happy and proud to be headlining at Bloodstock Festival 2019 in Derbyshire and we're thrilled to rock our fans in the UK once again like a hurricane."

With Saturday's headliner still to be announced, they join the acts already confirmed, including Friday headliner Sabaton, along with Children Of Bodom, Cradle of Filth, Queensryche, Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider, Swedish death-metallers Hypocrisy, and Sweden's Soilwork with a UK exclusive. There's much more to be announced, with over 100 rock and metal acts across four stages, along with a metal market, fairground rides and more.
