Def Leppard, Slipknot, and Tool to headline Download Festival 2019

Def Leppard, Slipknot, and Tool have been revealed as the headliners for next year's Download Festival, which takes place at Donington Park, Derbyshire over the weekend of Friday 14th to Sunday 16th June 2019.

Def Leppard will be playing 'Hysteria' in full (and more), and will be making their only UK appearance of 2019 on the Friday. Slipknot will headline the Saturday ., while Tool headline on Sunday.

Also announced are a further seventeen acts, who are Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, Whitesnake, Rob Zombie, Trivium, Amon Amarth, Carcass, Delain, Die Antwoord, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Opeth, Power Trip, Reel Big Fish, Skindred, Starset, Tesla, The Amity Affliction, and Underoath. There's much more still to be announced.

Def Leppard front man Joe Elliott has said:  “We are delighted to be going back to headline Download in 2019! The festival has a very special place in our hearts and it’s such a great place to play. We will be playing Hysteria in full – yes, in full! – plus a load more of the hits, and we are going to put on a very special show for our UK fans. Can’t wait to see you all there!”

Tickets will go on sale at 2pm this Thursday, 25th October, at 2018 prices until Tuesday 6th November, as follows:-
adult weekend (no camping): £175
adult weekend with 5 nights camping: £210
adult weekend with 3 night camping: £200
car parking: £20
