More acts have been revealed for the Green Man Festival, which takes place in Glanusk Park, Usk Valley, Powys, Wales, from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th August 2019.
New today are cult US band Eels, along with Yo La Tengo, The Growlers, White Fence, Shy FX, John Talabot, Bill Ryder-Jones, Marika Hackman, Kokoko!, Ex:Re, The Liminanas, Hand Habits, Yak, The Beths, Jockstrap, Modern Nature, N0v3l, Bess Atwell, Alex Rex, Arlo Day, Dry Cleaning, George Ogilvie, Spiritcake, Mama's Broke, Deptford Northern Soul Club, Alfresco Disco, and DJ Big Jeff.
These join the already announced acts, which include Four Tet, Father John Misty, Sharon Van Etten, Stereolab, Broken Social Scene, IDLES, Car Seat Headrest, Amadou & Mariam, Maribou State, Khruangbin, Whitney, Big Thief, Julia Jacklin, and Aldous Harding. Green Man has 10 individual areas, and offers a diverse range of events to accompany its music line-up, with art installations spread throughout the valley, a beer and cider tent to enjoy a crisp Welsh pint, an outer-spaced themed area of discovery and exploration for the 'little folk' and a relaxation and workshop space for the teenagers. As well as a line up of science, film, comedy & literature that will be revealed in the coming months.
