The line-up has been revealed for this year's Indietracks Festival, the festival with steam trains which takes place at Midland Railway Butterley, a 1950s steam heritage railway located in Ripley, Derbyshire from Friday 24th until Sunday 26th July 2020.
A celebration of independent, creative and DIY pop music, with artists performing across the heritage steam railway site, including its main outdoor stage, in a locomotive shed, a tin tabernacle and on the steam trains themselves, this year is headlined by Los Campesinos! (pictured above), Whyte Horses, and Pip Blom.
Also on the bill over the weekend are Rozi Plain, Shopping, Josie Long, Nervus, The Just Joans, Tigercats, Ex-Void, Erica Freas, The School, Otis Mensah, Martha Ffion, Fortitude Valley, Breakup Haircut, Melby, Megaflora, Nadia Javed, Chemtrails, adults, All Girls Arson Club, Soot Sprint, Suds, Alice Hubble, th'sheridans, Gutts, Instant Bin, Emma Kupa, Jonathan Kinsman, Pet Crow, Hailey Beavis, Oh Peas!, Shypig, Pete Green, Captain Handsome, The Pink Pound, Throw Like A Girl!, How Does It Feel To Be Loved? (DJs), Fortuna Pop! (DJs), Atta Girl (DJs), and Bum Notes karaoke with Ruby Waters. Several more artists and DJs will be added to the bill shortly.
As well as 50+ artists, the festival will also host a range of art and craft workshops and a selection of discos after the bands finish. We will also have a soft play and craft area for younger children and a drop-in craft area for older children.
Tickets are available at an early bird discount price of £75 (weekend) and £40 (day), excluding booking fees. These cheaper prices are available until 9pm on Sunday 10 May. After this date, prices will be £81 (weekend) and £42 (day). Weekend tickets for children aged 5-17 are £16 for the weekend, or £11 for a day ticket. Children under 5 get in free!
