Online local news site, Devon Live, are reporting (here), that Glam metal icons Kiss are set to play at Plymouth Argyle's Home Park stadium next summer They say the "event appeared on Stereoboard, but was later removed." The article slates the date for Saturday 3rd June 2023 as part of the European leg of their 'End Of The Road' tour where they are set to visit the UK on tour for the final time in 2023.
There are no official UK dates confirmed for the tour.
The website says: "On June 3, KISS will reportedly be playing Home Park, during another leg across the continent and Colombia. The event appeared on Stereoboard, but was later removed. As part of their tour, the band will be making their way to Prague, Amsterdam, Munich, Dresden, Berlin, Cartagena, Mannheim, and Cologne throughout the rest of June.
Well-known for their energetic on stage personas along with their sparkly clothing and painted faces, the band has built up a massive following over the years. Information on tickets, including release date and how to get them, has not yet been released. KISS formed in 1973, and has released 20 albums, including their self-titled debut in 1974 and their latest LP, 2012's 'Monster', in addition to a whopping 60 singles.
KISS has been awarded over 20 gold albums - the most of any American rock band to date. Current band members include singer and bassist Gene Simmons, who is famous for his tongue out pose while playing songs. He has been part of KISS since they formed in 1973 alongside rhythm guitarist Paul Stanley, who is also still part of the group, while drummer Eric Singer and guitarist Tommy Thayer complete the quartet.
KISS most famous songs include Rock and Roll All Nite, Crazy Crazy Nites and I Was Made for Lovin' You. The latter famously featured in adverts including one for Costa Coffee in 2012.
