Following the first-ever camping edition of Forbidden Forest in July 2022, and now in its 8th year, this festival takes place from Friday 2nd June to Sunday 4th June 2023, at Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire and features a wealth of electronic music with over 50 acts performing across the weekend including House, Tech House, Techno and D‘n’B.
The first acts have now been announced and include Grammy nominated Camelphat, who return after stand out performances in 2017 and 2019. Joining the list of festival headline performances is the founder of Trick, Patrick Topping, who has just been nominated for Best DJ in DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards, who is returning to the Forest for the third time.
French producer, Folamour will be joined by one of house music’s originals, MK, who boasts over 500 million global records. The D‘n’B line up includes Andy C, and Bru-C, joined by London drum and bass producer, Wilkinson plus Hedex offering a fresh take on heavy bass and euphoric melodies. Marco Carola, Hot Since 82 and Example make their debut this year. There are also returners such as drum and bass duo, Hybrid Minds, and Solardo.

Campers can arrive from Friday afternoon to get set up and take their time getting ready before the sun sets and the magic begins with a silent disco before enjoying the legendary line up from Saturday onwards.
This year sees the Festival work with new suppliers on their camping offering ‘Forbidden Retreat’, just a short walk from the event site and festival goers can choose between the Luxury or Super Lux package.
Early bird tickets have already sold out. the current release cost £150.50 for the weekend including caping, £90 without camping. Day tickets are available at £50.50.
