Following a sell-out 2023 edition, Forbidden Forest will return to Belvoir Castle from the 30th of May to 3rd of June 2024 with an increased capacity of 22,000 and featuring a wealth of electronic music with over 50 acts performing across the weekend including House, Tech House, Techno and D‘n’B.
The campsite will now open for festival goers on Thursday the 30th.
Line-up
The festival will feature some of the biggest names in the electronic music realm as they come together to celebrate their love of music, nature and dance. Returning to the Forest are house heroes Sonny Fodera, Hannah Laing, Patrick Topping, Jamie Jones, PAWSA, Jess Bays, Eats Everything, Schak, Low Steppa, Hot Since 82, Gorgon City, East End Dubs, Fleur Shore and Luude. DnB heavyweights Andy C, Hedex, Hybrid Minds, Wilkinson, Shy FX, Sub Focus, Bou, Darkzy and Holy Goof also make their return for 2024, along with power collective 24Hr Garage Girls who promise to bring non-stop lethal bassline and old skool anthems.
They'll be joined by Aussie DJ Dom Dolla, who played a sold out show at Electric Brixton earlier this month, Irish duo Belters Only, techno titan Charlie Sparks, Solid Grooves' Dennis Cruz, legendary DnB trio Kings of the Rollers, 'The First Lady of Defected' Sam Divine, minimal Parisian group ODEN & Fatzo, and Detroit-bred Seth Troxler.
Also included in the line-up are techno titan Carl Cox, Music On mastermind Marco Carola, Green Velvet, Scottish trailblazer Ewan McVicar, Franky Wah, Horse Meat Disco, who are celebrating 20 years of their signature disco sound this year, UK garage DJ Sammy Virji, Todd Terry, BK, Bklava, Chloe Robinson, Jenn Getz and Alfie, Notion, Oppidan, pioneering Haçienda DJ Paulette and Tom Starr. They will join Sonny Fodera, PAWSA, Patrick Topping, Jamie Jones, Dennis Cruz, Hannah Laing, Hybrid Minds and Wilkinson and many more in the Forest for the biggest Forbidden event yet.

The festival has just received an approved license which means they will now be able to accomodate 22,000 people over the weekend.
The additional tickets will go on sale for one day only at 10am on Friday 26th January on the Forbidden Forest website and authorised resellers Seetickets, Skiddle and Big Green Coach. Expect weeken tickets incl camping to cost £180 (excl booking fees)
Campers can arrive from Friday afternoon to get set up before the sun sets and the magic begins. This year sees the return of the festival's VIP camping offering, 'Forbidden Retreat', as well as its partnership with When Nature Calls, a toilet provider that offers the cleanest festival loos in the UK as well as pamper stations for those wanting to keep their glam in check. The festival is also working with its sustainable travel partner, Big Green Coach, which will offer coach transport directly to the festival from key UK cities.
