Secret Garden Party is thrilled to announce its first line up of DJs who will be performing this summer.

There's I. JORDAN and SHERELLE at the Circus Maximus, where the HE.SHE.THEY. team are presenting a very special DJ set by FAITHLESS (SISTER BLISS), an emotional one, following the sad passing of the iconic Maxi Jazz.

Then there’s the much acclaimed CHLOÉ ROBINSON, JAMZ SUPERNOVA, and JAY CARDER among 70 more world-class party experts and masters of the golden wheels, plus favourites and venue friends of SGP which include THE DANCE OFF, EDDY TEMPLE MORRIS and FLEETMAC WOOD. Almost all of the line up for the PAGODA stage on the Lake is here includingEMERALD, DISFREQ and LAYLA BENITEZ.

All of this is on top of the already-announced UNDERWORLD, RÓISÍN MURPHY, LEFTFIELD, 2MANY DJs LIVE, FABIO & GROOVERIDER & THE OUTLOOK ORCHESTRA, GRANDMASTER FLASH and many more talented guests from the worlds of pop, punk, and anything else your summer soundtracks needs.

In short the original team (& more) are all back for the Secret Garden Party 2.0... the country's biggest, and most silliest, independent weekend of music and art, set across the beautiful lakes, hills, and woodlands of Huntingdon.

Festivals aren’t just weekends in fields with music. They bind people, they create culture, and they reinvigorate us to play, like we were children again. Through its attention to detail, inclusive stages – there were so many little labyrinths of queer culture and cabaret culture in tiny little tents going on until 6am, more than perhaps even at Glastonbury – SGP’s return massively enriches the UK festival scene.’

The award-winning Secret Garden Party is a much-loved and a truly independent event, offering 4 days of immersive entertainment and camping, with the focus on championing new and creative ideas. Situated in a beautiful location by a shimmering lake it offers over 10 live music and dj stages, a multitude of games, parades, performances, secret happenings, thought-provoking art installations, delicious food and drink, outdoor swimming, stunning unique visual displays and much much more. It is all lovingly curated with meticulous attention to detail. The intention is to transport ‘gardeners’ into a temporary magical parallel world in which they can reawaken a carefree sense of childish fun and playfulness.

By popular demand, this year sees the return of the incredibly competitive Dance Off, where contestants vie for the prestigious top award. There’s Chai Wallahs, Feast of Fools, Secret FM, Small World, The Drop, The DogHouse, The Living Room (acoustic), the (now infamous) secret bar, an even larger Pagoda dance stage overlooking the Lake, and a new version of the Collosillyum, reborn as The Circus Maximus and hosted by renowned inclusive party organisers He.She.They. 

This year also sees a fun-packed north field with parades, wild swimming, immersive theatre, aerial displays, and luxe boutique camping experiences. As ever, there will be the iconic paint fight and fireworks spectacle in the main arena, plus art installations and many silly games.

With highly acclaimed live acts to a full DJ line-up (plus a very healthy stack of DnB on offer) for 2023 there’s certain to be intergalactic space stations to suit all tastes.

Sustainability

This year there’ll be some changes to the Garden, including switching to a compost loos solution. The SGP is also introducing a revolutionary new waste management system that will turn non-recyclable waste into energy.

Built around the 2023 theme: ‘A NEW HOPE’ Secret Garden Party is taking its cue from the greatest sci-fi minds, weirdos and heroes of the past to take a bold leap forward. It aims to teleport gardeners on an adventure through space, time, and other dimensions armed with not just one of the best crews assembled, but with some of the most glittering musical guests in the galaxy
