Acoustic Gathering 2006

Acoustic Gathering is a free acoustic festival held in Peasholm Park, Scarborough (North Yorkshire) on Sunday 17th September.

The event runs from midday to 10.30pm. All the acoustic acts will be performing from the pagoda bandstand in the lake. There will be 17 acts in total with local acts featuring heavily on the bill during the daytime.

Acts confirmed so far include Craig Blair & Ollie Koppert, Carlos Baez, John and Tom Wotton, Rom Davenport, Diga, Billy Nielson, Mat Harrop, Karl Culley, Alex Kirby, Amaya Huntly, Ollie Banks, Darren Cooke, Carl Woodford, Mat Harrop & Jesse Hutchinson, and headliner Jon Gomm and Nick Harper.

Absolutely everybody is welcome, and on the evening festival goers are invited to “Carry the Lantern” and bring some form of light to create an extra special atmosphere.

The festival should have a chilled out vibe and there is plenty of space to relax as well as plenty of room for families and disabled access.
