Acoustic Gathering 2008

Acoustic Gathering is a free acoustic festival held in Peasholm Park, Scarborough (North Yorkshire) on Sunday 14th September, now in its third year.

The event runs from midday to 10.30pm. Over 20 acts will feature on the bill which this year will not feature any acts from the previous 2 festivals but will showcase many out of town guests, local acts who have not featured before.

3 Daft Monkeys will be headlining, preceded by ex Little Angels vocalist Toby Jepson, Alistair Griffin, Edwina Hayes, Stony, Manfat Voodoo & Johnny Jump Up, Mark Boden, Morales/Watts, Steph Fraser, Holly Taymar & Natasha Johansson.

The acoustic acts will be performing from the bandstand on the lake under the towering gaze of the gloriously rebuilt pagoda.

All facilities are on site including catering, bar, toilets, festival stalls, kids entertainment area, & as the dusk falls, projections will illuminate the stage, lake and island waterfall.

There will be plenty of room for families, lots of space to relax and disabled access.
