Now in it's 9th year Barefoot Festival 2014 returns as a full family friendly event that will take place at Prestwold Hall, Loughborough, in North Leicestershire from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th July 2014.

Line-up

Headlining Friday night is DC Fontana, topping the bill on Saturday is SuperEvolver, and headlining Sunday night is Laurel Canyons. Support comes from The Idolins, Lola King & The Kickstarts, The Ganders, Siân Cross, Mia and the Moon, Kenneth J Nash, Suzy Condrad, The Arcadians, and Sound Code Sirius.

Saturday's cabaret acts include Keely Mills, Lou Safire, Amy HoopLovin, The Cancan Collective, Andrea & the Chaînes Dance Company & Chica Bonita.

Talulah Blue will host her Burlesque & Cabaret Extravaganza on the Friday night, with Emmanuelle Claire, Scarlett Honey, Dr. Bendini, Lou Safire, Doe Demure & The Chicas Locas, and Loretta von Dini.

Friday after dark in the Big Top is the Girls On Fire show with Moirai, Tribal Belly Dance, Doe Demure, Laura and Lyndsay of Hooper Hoops. On Saturday night after the 'Life Is A Cabaret' Show it's the turn of the Combust UK Big Burn Fire Show.

The early bird offer has ended. An adult full weekend ticket with camping is priced at £85, a child (aged 5 - 16 yrs) weekend ticket is priced at £35. A live in vehicle pass is priced at £25, and a weekend parking pass is £15. Day tickets are also available. Prices do not include booking fees.

Workshops

There will be Belly Dance, Tribal Dance, Cancan, Zumba, Pole Dancing, Poi and Staff Spinning, Capoeira, Aerial Skills, loads for the kids, and much more.

The festival will have live shows and entertainment running the whole weekend musicians, singers and comedians, Can Can Dancers, exotic Belly Dancers, street style magic performance and the Barefoot Busk Stops.

Talulah Blue will be returning with her teasing burlesque extravaganza and there will also be the family cabaret show. For those seeking some thrills, Combust will be performing their Fireshow around the open campfire.

Children

For the kids, entertainment this year is organised by Angel Gardens who will create a specially dedicated Children's Zone with crafts, workshops, entertainment, face painting and more.

Ethos

The aim of the week end is for Barefoot attendees to go back to back to their roots for the weekend, it's hoped that festival goers will reconnect with themselves, sit around the camp fire with the sounds of live drumming in their ears, take a moment out from the stresses and strains of their busy lives and yes - dance barefoot in the sunshine.
