Now celebrating it's 11th year Barefoot Festival 2016 the full family friendly event takes place at Prestwold Hall, Loughborough, in North Leicestershire from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st July 2016.

Line-up

The first acts confirmed are Brad Sharp, The Mojo Slide, The Fruitful Earth, Fern Teather, Sim Dorset, Gold Water, Ailsa Gra, and GU-RU.

Expect also the Barefoot Cabaret Show, presented by Sky Tribe Dance Studio - fully equipped with trapeze and circus acts, and Saturday night will see the return of the Burlesque Extravaganza hosted by Talulah Blue.

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £85, or £35 for a child (aged 5-16 years) and under 5s can attend free. Prices do not include booking fees.

Themed Fancy Dress Days

This year there will be themed fancy dress days - Fairy Friday, Sparkly Saturday, and Bollywood Sunday - to celebrate the colourful and awesomeness of the diversity of Leicester's culture.

Workshops

The festival will have live shows and entertainment running the whole weekend with musicians, dancers, singers and comedians, and the Barefoot Busk Stops.

Children

For the kids, entertainment this year is organised by Angel Gardens who will create a specially dedicated Children's Zone with crafts, workshops, entertainment, face painting and more.

Ethos

The aim of the week end is for Barefoot attendees to go back to back to their roots for the weekend, it's hoped that festival goers will reconnect with themselves, sit around the camp fire with the sounds of live drumming in their ears, take a moment out from the stresses and strains of their busy lives and yes - dance barefoot in the sunshine.
