The Beacon Festival is a family festival to celebrate the summer. Laze away the longest days of summer with music, workshops, stalls, and food & drink. Set on the Beacon site on top of The Chiltern Hills, at Christmas Common, Oxfordshire the festival happens from Friday 17th until Sunday 18th June 2014.
Beacon Festival is staged at Watlington Hill Farm, the site of the infamous Music On The Hill (MOTH) festival, Lindsay Howard-Dean who took over the farm from her parents a few years ago had the idea to re-ignite the flame, and with some gentle persuasion and a bit of arm twisting, put together a team of volunteers.
Line-up
The 40 acts across 3 stages including Not The Rolling Stones , UK Foo Fighters, Lowly Hounds Dubvocaliza, Kanikaze Test Pilots, and Dubwiser.
Tickets
The early bird offer has ended. An adult ticket is priced at £29. A teen (aged 16 and 17 years) is priced at £18, and children aged under 16 years can attend for free. Camping is priced at £5 per person, under 16s free. Only for sale in combination with weekend ticket. A camper van pass is priced at £15 per camper van and must be bought in combination with valid camping tickets.
