Birdsedge Village Festival 2010

Birdsedge Village Festival takes place in the Pennine village of Birdsedge, West Yorkshire on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th July 2010.

Line-up

Friday 9th (Birdsedge Beer Festival) with Grant Baynham and the Look North Funk Band, and Robert Sweeting's Speedway.
Saturday 10th - features a daytime of entertainment with The Jolly Jester, The Mighty Zulu Nation, Kirkburton Rapier Dancers, Shepley Band, Hathor (belly dancers) Huddersfield Giants Cheerleaders, Big G, and Robert Sweeting's Speedway, and an evening concert with The Mighty Zulu Nation, Artisan Reunion, Harry Rowland, Brass Band, and Robert Sweeting's Speedway.

Tickets

Friday is free, Saturday daytime tickets are priced at £1.50 for adults, and children's entry is 50p. Tickets for the evening concert are priced at Tickets £15 for adults and £12 for unwaged, a family ticket for 2 adults plus all their school age children is priced at £50.

Whilst Friday is primarily a beer festival, Saturday offers a programme of primarily folk and roots with dance teams, music in the Marquee, children's fancy dress, stalls, games, an outdoor programme, children's entertainment & rides, BBQ, and a real ale bar.
