Bloodstock Open Air festival will take place from Thursday 9th until Sunday 12th August 2018 at Catton Hall, Walton-on-Trent, in South Derbyshire. The aim is to offer a traditional metal event comparable to those regularly seen in Europe and capture the spirit of the original Monsters Of Rock shows which used to take place at Castle Donington during the 1980's and 1990's.

Line-up

Already confirmed are headliners Judas Priest, Gojira, and Nightwish. Also playing will be Emperor, DevilDriver, Alestorm, Cannibal Corpse, Jasta & Friends, Orphaned Land, Vola, Watain (UK exclusive), Orden Ogan, Amaranthe, and many more.

Tickets are on sale priced at £145 for the weekend. A child's ticket (4-11) is priced at £35.

Facilities

As well as the international heavy metal bands across four stages, Bloodstock offers a large selection of merchandise stalls, metal karaoke, a campsite and a wide selection of food and bars.

Charity partnership

Since 2011 Bloodstock has been partnered with Teenage Cancer Trust (charity no: 1062559), and has raised over £62,000 together to help young people with cancer.

The festival has a RAM gallery, which in 2018 will showcase work by festival founder and artist Paul Raymond Gregory, with a dedicated wall to honour Friday headliners Judas Priest.
