The Blues Festival of Wales returns this year renamed Wild Boar Blues and takes place on May Spring Bank Holiday from Satrurday 23rd and Sunday 24th May 2015, in the Swansea Valley at the Green Valley Arts site at Upper Cwmtwrch.

The Green Valley Arts site is a sustainable events site set along the old railway line at Upper Cwmtwrch, located at the junction of 3 counties and the meeting of the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons, in the valley of The Wild Boar, on the former site of the Taffy's Tash festivals of the 90's.

Jo Harman, King Sizew Slim, Glas, John Fiddler Medicine Head, Funke & The Two Tone Baby, Andrew Baseley, Swampygrass, Sicknote Steve, JellyRoll Jones, Blues Boy, Dan Owen, Maharaja Blues, The Delta Breaks, Blues Train, Luke Doherty Band, and The Rumble Strutters.

The Big Lodge tipi a permanent feature at the green valley site throughout the year will feature solo and duo acts throughout the weekend.

Tickets are priced at £15 per day or £20 for the weekend, camping is priced at £20 for Friday to Sunday or £10 for 1 night. Camping Spaces are limited so early booking is advised. Children under 16 can attend for free.

Camping

Camping is limited for all events at the Green Valley Arts Site and must be prebooked before hand. They actually have more pitches for camper vans than tents. Once these pitches have gone there is no more camping tickets available.

On site

Expect to find the usual bars including real ales, craft stalls and catering.
