Liverpool's Brazilica Festival takes place from Friday 17th until Sunday 19th July in various city centre locations.
Programme
There are no acts confirmed yet for the festival celebrating the vibrant culture of Brazil including the annual Carnival Ball and Carnival Queen Competition, Brazilian film screenings, carnival art exhibitions and more.
The carnival parade will take place in the evening and will include samba groups from countries from across the globe, and showcasing the best Brazilian bands, surrounded by Brazilian street food stalls, caipirinha bars and more.
Line-up
The line-up includes Marcos Valle, Nubiyan Twist, Afrosamba, and Pilo Adami. This year also marks the 20th birthday of Liverpool Samba School, so you can be sure that the group will also feature prominently in this year’s proceedings.
Plus a Graffiti Exhibition, Talk on Carmen Miranda, Carnival Ball, Samba Funk Factory, Carnival Queen Competition, and Brazilica Carnival Parade.
Tickets
This isn't a ticketed event as the carnival/parade and workshops are all FREE. Although the afterparty on Saturday night will have an entry fee.
Accommodation
The festival offers no accommodation at the event. There are plenty of accommodation options available in the city.
