Brightlingsea MusicFest 2006

The sixth free, live, outdoor music festival in East Anglia, with a two-stage event on the Western promenade on Saturday. Open from 12.30pm until 8pm, there are at least 10 nationally and locally known artists performing.

The line-up is as follows: The Lightyears, Damn, Llewelyn, CAV OK, Charlie Dore, Junkyard Aliens, Flying Heroes, Adrian Nation, Spargo, Stone Shuffle Jones, The Bellarosa Connection, Balakulanya, Brian Stevens, Roy Villanis, Sally Theobald, and Julian Littman.

The festival is located just off the sea front on a large grassed area enclosed by beach huts, beside the open air swimming pool with ample space for picnics. There are also cafes nearby and food stalls will be providing alternative eating outlets on the day.

Free parking: There is a large amount of free parking but it can get pretty full – there will be an overspill car park a short walk away if necessary.

Individuals are invited to show their support by purchasing colourful wristbands at £2 each and Festival T shirts at £10. Both these items are on sale now at local outlets.
