The 2nd annual Butefest takes place from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st July 2016 at King George's Field, Rothesay on the Scottish Island of Bute.
Line-up
The first acts confirmed are Skerryvore, The Magic Numbers, Idlewild, Colonel Mustard & The Dijon Five, The Baghdaddies, The Rezillos, Talisk, Tom McRae, Nieves, Recreations (formerly: 'Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly')', The Youth and Young, Scott Wood Band, Mickey 9s, Heron Valley, If?, Yoko Pwno, Josephine Sillars, Made As Mannequins, and Mt Doubt.
Plus family entertainment from Professor Pumpernickel, Ian Douglas, and Gary (Gacko) Bridgens.
Tickets
An early bird adult ticket is priced at £85. A youth weekend ticket (for those aged 11 - 17 years) is priced at £60. A family ticket is priced at £230 (2 x adult + 2 x youth), with children aged under 11 years able to attend free. Camping is priced at (£5 p/person), and parking (£5 p/vehicle). Prices so include booking fees.

Getting there
BY CAR: The ferry terminal at Wemyss Bay is only 40 mins from Glasgow.
BY TRAIN: With regular trains from Glasgow Central Station straight to the ferry terminal at Wemyss Bay. The train ticket can be bought in conjunction with the ferry ticket.
BY PLANE: The ferry terminal is only 40 mins from both Prestwick and Glasgow Airports. Again there are regular bus and train services to the ferry at Wemyss Bay.
