With musical entertainment on five stages plus a Teen Tent showcasing young bands, and lots of festival peripherals throughout the day, this festival aims to be a community family event with a wide variety of bands.

There's a Main Stage, an Acoustic Stage, Dance Tent, and a Student Stage offering loads of performances from a wide variety of both local and national artists. This year's headliners have not yet been announced but plenty of local performers are expected to be playing.

The Cromlech (main) Stage line-up includes Johnny Action Finger, Tootinskamoon, Hip HQ, Rodney Branigan, Derwyddon Dr Gonzo, OK, Kali Mist, Mr Huw, Dapper Cadavers, Sicknote, and Nik Turner.
Appearing on the Annwn Stage will be Sierra Alpha, The Mighty Fuod, Eusebio, Sudan 1, The Mams, Super Cute Voices, Ascari, May Contain Nuts, Verbal Kint, Hywl Griff, Claudia and the Believers, Underling, Brother Vegetable, Random Perception, The Infamous, Renthouse Groove, and the Tidy Like Battle Winners.

The Rhiannon Stage line-up includes Monty Pirates, Regime, Laying Jade, NTOCITV, Order 66, Buffalo Kings, Hoochie Coochie Band, Big Apple Credits, Menter Iaith Winner, Yucatan, Anthill, Freaky Fortnight, Supergene, Blacktooth, Eskimo, and Sniper.

The line-up on the Taliesin Stage is Broken Nose, Love Rocket, Der Science Metzger, Spiridion, Brainglue, Menter Iaith winners, The Dancing Bullets, Swci Boscawen, MC Mabon, Frame 3-13, Bomb Culture, Mantra, Freshhold, Counterfeit Pirates, Session Head, Reck'd, and Sendelica.

Announced for the Derwen Stage (acoustic) is Jim Fox, The Black Loves, Lowri Evans, Rodney Branigan, One Voice Choir, Cherie Morgan, Ember, The Gentle Good, Krook Family, Young Tide, Ruben Amos, plus Comedians.

The line-up for the Dance Tent includes Sicknote, Tekno-ed, Analogue People, Shaun Phillips, Beat-Junkies crew, Fat Lace crew, and Thugmonkey Records.

There will also be workshops, Ecozone, chill-out space, chai, and a Kid's Area as well as arts and crafts activities in the Craft Zone.

New for 2008 is Baby Blue Rock a youth area for young people aged 16 to 26, which offers sound, lighting and stage management workshops with a view to them learning event management skills.

Tickets are priced at £26.50. Under 13s get free entry but must be registered prior to entry and receive their official CBR wrist band. To buy tickets and register under 13s (click here).

CAMPING
FREE camping will be allowed on both Friday and Saturday. The site of the Celtic Blue Rock Community Arts Festival is held, according to older maps, on the Maengwynhir mountain offering magnicient views of Pembrokeshire on a clear day.

PLEASE NOTE:
The organisers want to encourage car sharing, reduce road congestion and help the environment. Camping and entry to the Festival is FREE for all, BUT there is a £15 charge for vehicle parking for non-members and if you aren't a member, you might not get in if you don't have a ticket (which you get as a member). All surpluses from the Festival will be donated to worthy community causes. No animals allowed on site.
