Cheltenham Jazz Festival features big international names alongside the best of British talent and a wide variety of performances across the week. The festival will run from Wednesday 27th April until Monday 2nd May 2016.
The festival is hosted in a tented festival village in Cheltenham’s Montpellier Gardens, featuring a Big Top stage, the Jazz Arena, and a food, drink and market area. The festival will continue to use nearby venues the Parabola Arts Centre, Cheltenham Town Hall and the Daffodil restaurant.

This year's festival will feature performances from Imelda May, Leo Green, Guy Garvey, Jamie Cullum, Lianne La Havas, Beverley Knight, Mulatu Astatke, Courtney Pine, Taj Mahal, David Sanborn, Corinne Bailey Rae, Jazz Jamaica, Ian Shaw, Zoe Rahman, Brand New Heavies, Jacob Collier, Meadow, David Sanborn, Jose James, Hiatus Kaiyote, Christian Scott aTundeAdjuah, Tim Berne's Snakeoil, Becca Stevens Band, Julian Arguelles, Giovanni Guidi Trio, Omar Sosa's Quarteto Afro Cubano, Rom Schaerer Eberle, Marcus Strickland, Lizz Wright & Frankfurt Radio Big Band in the UK premiere of their new project performing the songs of Gershwin, a 'live remixed' performance from Soweto Kinch Trio featuring Gregory Hutchinson, Jo Whiley, Sarah Nicolls, and Kit Downes new project entitled 'Dinner Games', which will see the audience creating the music as they trigger samples whilst sat at a long dinner table in the Parabola Arts Centre, and the world premiere of a Cheltenham Jazz Festival commission from pianist Alexander Hawkins.

Accommodation
This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area. The Cheltenham Jazz Festival attracts over 17,000 people annually, so if you want to stay in Cheltenham during this period booking accommodation in advance of the event is a must. Some of the hospitality packages available do include overnight accommodation.
