Concrete and Glass, new in 2008, takes place on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd October 2008 in over 20 established music venues and galleries in the Shoreditch, Hoxton and Brick Lane areas of East London.
Each venue will play host to the best performances and events by new, upcoming and some established bands and artists. All venues are within a short walk of each other, with capacities varying between 150 and 750 people. The music features over 100 bands in 18 venues.
The first acts confirmed so far include TV On The Radio, Kimmo Pohjonen, James Holden, Telepathe, Beyond The Wizards Sleeve, Euros Childs, Eat Your Own Ears, Telepathe, Errors, Steve Lamacq, Pete And The Pirates, and Apes & Androids. Plus art exhibitions from A Foundation, Flora Fairbairn Projects, Gerry Fox, Saatchi Online, Riflemaker, Artprojx's David Blandy And Manasseh Sound System.
Wristbands will gain you entry to all 'Concrete and Glass' art and music venues subject to capacity. Single and two day wristbands are available priced at £35 for both days or £22.50 for either Thursday or Friday. To buy tickets, click here. There is now also a 20% discount on tickets for students.
