Copmanthorpe Carnival 2011

Copmanthorpe Carnival offers a day of live music and entertainment for all the family at Copmanthorpe Recreation Centre, in York on Saturday 2nd July 2011 from noon until 6pm.

Line-up

Oceans, The Pauper Kings, Dorien Starre, The Buccaneers, The Fear, and The Bon Bonz. Plus live performances from The Afrikan Warriors, Limelight Dance, The Dance Factory, Chechelele World Music Choir, Lisa Marie School of Dance, and The York Jugglers and more. The Circus of the Carnival will feature Juggling Workshops, Stilt Walkers, Clowns and Acrobats as the carnival brings the Circus to town this July.

Tickets

Entry to the event is priced at £3 in advance £5 on the gate under 14s can enter free. Tickets for Copmanthorpe Carnival can be purchased from the follow locations in the village: The Annexe, The Co-op, The Post Office, The Rec, The Royal Oak, and The Fox.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
