After seven years at Cornbury Park, in 2011 the festival moves to a new location - The Great Tew Estate, Chipping Norton, in Oxfordshire offering a family-friendly line-up, mixing a few typical-festival acts with some new ones. it's a nicely-organized & comfortable music festival with many helpful and enjoyable add-ons. The eighth Cornbury festival takes place for the first time over three days from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd July 2011.

The new site is deeper in the Oxfordshire countryside and just a 12-minute drive from its previous home.

Line-up

James Blunt, The Faces, and Status Quo will headline with Cyndi Lauper, Eliza Doolittle, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Bellowhead, Ray Davies, Imelda May, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Like, Olly Murs, The Straits, The Saw Doctors, Deacon Blue, Wilko Johnson, Stackridge, Ben Montague, Pete Lawrie, Alice Gold, The Toy Hearts, Saint Jude, The Chipping Norton Allstars, and John Allen also confirmed. In addition to the music, expect the festival to offer a variety of attractions including a fairground, many morris dance pageants, children's theatre workshops, theatre workshops, arts and crafts, speciality shops, novelty acts and upmarket catering offering everything from champagne and cappuccinos to real ale.

Tickets

An adult weekend will be priced at £140 or £160 with camping. A young person's weekend ticket (aged 13-16 years) is priced at £70 or £90 with camping. Day tickets are priced at £60 for adults, £30 for youths. A campervan pass is priced at £40. A limited number of FREE tickets available for children (aged 12 and under), for adults aged over 70, and disabled carers. To buy tickets, click here.
