Cusworth Music Festival has been cancelled.
A statement from Cusworth Music Festival says:
" Dear Customer,
It is with regret that we have to announce the cancellation of the Cusworth Music Festival 2014.
We have worked very hard to try and reproduce the success of last year’s festival, and for it to grow; but circumstances are such that based on poor ticket sales, lack of sponsorship and increased costs, would result in unaffordable losses. This does not in any way reflect on the artists; we feel it highlights the poor economic climate.
We would like to thank all the staff, suppliers and contractors that have helped and thank the artists and agents that have supported the festival.
Full refunds are available at point of purchase, please contact your ticket supplier direct to arrange this at your convenience.
As an alternative we will be staging a full weekend of live music at Doncaster Leopard, which will be re-opening after extensive refurbishments for the full bank holiday weekend Fri 22 nd / Sat 23rd / Sun 24th/ Mon 25th August 2014. There will be more news on that soon, which will also be posted on www.cusworthmusicfestival.co.uk
Tickets for CUSWORTH MUSIC FESTIVAL will be valid and can be exchanged for a full weekend ticket at The Leopard which will mean you can attend all concerts there on the four dates above."
