The Divinemoon Festival of Contemplative and Devotional Music takes place from the afternoon of Friday the 18th of August and runs until the evening of Sunday the 20th of August.
The festival is held on the isle of Portland, near Weymouth in South Dorset. Featured artists at the festival include singer/songwriter Dada Nabha, Buddhist piano and chanting from Suan Ho-dinh, Alex Routledge - pianist composer with new classical works, Philip Clouts - jazz pianist of Zubop, Klezmania, Philip Klouts Trio, and sufi dances of universal peace with Philip O'Donohoe.
The festival will also host poetry, Commedia Del Arte clowning, live action painting to classical Indian dance, and Celtic/Irish folk at the Parish Annual, among many other attractions.
Performances will be held at the Young Offenders Institute, Portland, and in Ladymead Sheltered Housing Centre, Easton, and on the village green (Easton Square).
Tickets are on sale priced at £27 for the whole weekend or £15 for either the Saturday or the Sunday. Tickets are half price for children.
