Eastleigh Music Festival is a three day community festival held in the centre of Eastleigh town from Friday 9th until Sunday 11th July with the last day incorporating the Mela. During the day on Saturday and all day Sunday the site is FREE with open access to all. Ticketed concerts shall take place during the evening on both the Friday and Saturday.
Line-up
Friday night will be headlined by Cara Dillon with support from Jim Moray and Lau.Saturday night's will be headlined by Badly Drawn Boy with support from Haunted Stereo, Peggy Sue, and Field Music. Earlier in the day there is a local band showcase bands will include Scarlet Soho, Dlugokecki, Charley Macauley, Winterhours, Ardentes, Ben Goddard, Calhouen Owen, Broken Links, Chalky Gravell, Chris Ricketts & Mark Willshire, Jazica, and more.
Sunday is the Eastleigh Mela which will see the likes of the Pheonix Dancers, Kasbiah Knights, Eastleigh Fusion Choir, Kala the Arts, Morris Dancers, Bhangra Competition, Taiko Drumming, Spanish Dance, Falconry Display, Batala Portsmouth, Fire Service Demonstration, Spanish Dancers, Bollywood Competition, Crestwood Steel Band, Lion Dancers and many more on into the evening which will see international artists including Raghu Dixit, Baghdaddies and Shama.

The Festival is held on Leigh Road Recreation Ground, which is a few minutes walk from Eastleigh Train Station and easily accessible from the M3 and M27. Both festival stages will be covered by two big tops so that performances can be enjoyed regardless of what the weather will be like.Workshops
There is also the chance to get involved with various dance and music workshops. During the day on Saturday and all day Sunday the site is FREE with open access to all. On Saturday afternoon there will be performances from around 25 up and coming local bands and musicians. On the Sunday there will be music from across the globe, in the mela multicultural celebration.Other entertainment
Over the course of the weekend there are extensive activities for all ages on offer, including circus skills workshops, climbing wall, football skills, various arts & craft workshops, sustainability stalls, food, and a full bar.More information will be here when available.
