The Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival takes place from Friday 17th until Sunday 26th July at various venues around Edinburgh.

Now in its 37th year the festival offers a host of concerts, club gigs, jam sessions, street parties and events.

Line-up

The Festival will feature 150 concerts over 10 days including celebrations of the centenaries of Frank Sinatra and Willie Dixon.

Friday 17: AJ Brown, Mr Sipp, Naomi Shelton and the Gospel Queens, Bratislava Hot Serenaders, Davina And The Vagabonds.

Saturday 18: Mardi Gras, Janiva Magness, Bandakadabra, Ambrose Akinmusire Quartet / Enrico Zanisi Trio.

Sunday 19: Remembering Acker Bilk, Edinburgh Festival Carnival, Laura MacDonald Quartet, Batchelors of Jazz, with guest Warren Vache, Edinburgh Jazz Festival Orchestra / Echoes of Ellington, Trio HSK with Cory Henry.

Monday 20: Cedric Burnside Project, New Orleans Swamp Donkeys, Melissa Aldana and Crash Trio / Kim Macari & Enrico Zanisi Band, Brian Kellock Swingtet, Dom and The Ikos.

Tuesday 21: Ali Affleck and Copper Cats, Tom Gordon Basie Septet, The Silver Project, Gol.

Wednesday 22: Stefan Grossman, Elaine Delmar, Orkestra Del Sol.

Thursday 23: Bill Salmond’s Louisiana Ragtime Band, David Patrick –The Jazz Rites Of Spring, Troker.

Friday 24: Mud Morganfield Band / Lurrie Bell, Rose Room, Calum Gourlay - Thelonious, Brandon Santini, Ben Rice.

Saturday 25: Bearded Gypsy Band, Jools Holland & his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, Haftor Medbøe, Espen Eriksen, Gunnar Halle, Jazzpospolita.

Sunday 26: Hamish McGregor plays Acker Bilk, Remembering Alex Welsh, George Benson, Lorna Reid, Pocion de Fe.
