Electric Garden 2011

A new progressive rock music festival for North West,The Electric Garden Festival will take place on Thursday 19th until Saturday 21st May, 2011 at Beat Club, Blackpool.

Line-up

The full programme will be:
Thursday: Matt Stevens, Also Eden, Credo.
Friday: The Watch (Italy), Nerve Toy Trio, Dropshard.
Saturday: The Tangent, IT, Abel Ganz, Godsticks, SeYes, Earthling Society, + guest DJ David Elliot (The European Perspective).
Electric Garden will feature 8 artists with (progressive rock based) film footage in-between sets.

Tickets

A Friday ticket is priced at £14 in advance (£16 on the door), and a Saturday Ticket is priced at £23 in advance (£26 on the door). To buy tickets, click here.

The venue

The Beat Club holds in excess of 300 people, has a well stocked bar (real ale downstairs), and will offer food and a merchandise area. The venue will operate a wrist band system to facilitate easy movement in and out of the venue. There are bars upstairs and downstairs with wristband access. The whole building will be prog themed.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but Blackpool has one of the highest concentrations of affordable accommodation in the world and the location of the club enables easy access via tram/taxi/bus or on foot from the many hotels and guest houses on the 7 mile long promenade.
