Folk on the Lawn is a FREE (donations) event which takes place from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th July 2013 at Abbey Mill, Tintern, Monmouthshire, Gwent, in South Wales.
Line-up
Acts will perform across three stages. They include Alan Kirkpatrick and John Shaw, Avital Raz, Blushing Melons, David Gibb and Elly Lucas, Dennis Remme, Dragon's Breath, Fountainhead, Gaudy Orde, Gramercy Riffs, Gwas y Neidr, Julian Meek, Lee Jones, Mat Lingraad, Newport Folk Club, Paul Lewis, Polly Barrett, Red Shoes, Rumney Folk Club, Stark, Steppin' Stones, The Chartists, The Hittites, The Shelleys, and Tinpots.

While free, donations are requested (and gain the donor a FotL wristband). Festival goers are also encouraged to buy raffle tickets in order to be part of the raffle mega draw that takes place on evening. FotL is also a not for profit event.
There is NO on-site camping, but there exists a council owned campsite no more than 10 minutes walk away from the site. Pre-booking is recommended. Pre-booking is also recommended for the various bed and breakfast and hotel accommodation which is quite plentiful in Tintern and neighbouring villages.
Abbey Mill boasts its own bar and restaurant. A number of craft shops are on site with many more in the village. FotL will also host a small number of stalls selling  if recent years are repeated  everything from antique clothes to harps.
