Folk On The Quay 2017

Folk On The Quay takes place in the Dorset town of Poole and is a FREE access and colourful folk festival happening on Saturday 24th June 2017 with ceilidhs and Morris dancing and concerts on multiple stages in the street overlooking the harbour.

Line-up

No acts are announced as yet.

There will be two outdoor stages, one located opposite the Thistle Hotel. The road will be closed off so that Folk On The Quay can enjoy outdoor standing concerts and ceilidh dances in the late afternoon. Another stage is opposite the Poole Arms and The Portsmouth Hoy. Pubs on Poole Quay are entering into the spirit of the festival and will also be scheduling pub gigs. There's also good food (especially fish dishes) and real ale on tap. There will also be a host of Morris acts, children's activities, workshops, and more.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
