Freerotation is an electronic audio-visual festival taking place in and around Baskerville Hall, on the Welsh/English Border, known from the Sherlock Holmes story 'The Hound of the Baskervilles'. The festival takes place from Friday 8th until Sunday 10th August 2008.

The festival has an international line-up of live electronic musicians, DJs & VJs, covering a blend of genres including Techno, Deep House, Minimal, Dubstep, Dub, Nu-Jazz, Downtempo, Experimental, Ambient, etc.

The line-up includes Move D, Shackleton, Lawrence AKA Sten, Oliver Ho AKA Raudive, Portable AKA Bodycode, Mala (Digital mystikz), Tom Ellis AKA Ekkis, Dandy Jack & Sonja Moonear AKA Junction SM, Jackmate AKA Soul Phiction, Sven Weisemann, Andy Stott (Modern Love), Roberto Q Ingram, Lakuti (Sud Electronic), Tom Demac, Chill, Joe Ellis (Trimsound), Earthdoctor, Lump, Leif (Trimsound), Steevio & Suzybee (Mindtours), Glimpse, Anton Zap, Marcel Janovsky (Treibstoff), Grimes Adhesif (Mindyourhead), Duckett, Mark Henning, Freund der Familie, Suade (Adapted Vinyl), DJ Mitch (Deep in Dub), Chris Box (Run), J-Lab, Dr Nojoke, Hibernation, Jakooky, DJ Den, Reflektor, John Tree, and Nick Craddock.

The line-up of VJs includes Micarus, Digital Donut, Aero, Liam Carlin, Zee Mash, Fata Morgana, Glen Urquhart, Suzybee, and Cinema by Mash & Guerilla Cinema.

There will be three music/visual spaces: one featuring uptempo dance, a second more relaxed dance space, and a chillout, plus music on the lawn saturday afternoon/early evening.

Festival goers can walk in the extensive grounds, swim in the indoor pool, take a sauna, eat at a choice of 2 restaurant/cafes including a vegetarian cafe, browse in the market/record fair, or take in an underground film in the cinema.

Tickets are priced at £50 including free camping (rooms also available). Freerotation is a members only event, and tickets must be bought in advance. Membership, and tickets are available by clicking here.
