The new five day festival is packed with almost 40 music events, including:
Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood, who'll be talking about his new work commissioned by Fuse for the London Sinfonietta; a double bill from Yo La Tengo/Gorky's Zygotic Mynci; free lunchtime concerts by the Smith Quartet and the Apollo Sax Quartet;
a music and silent film evening with Joanna Macgregor and guests; American guitarist Bill Frisell with Super Rail Band's Djelimlady Tounkara; Thursday and Friday club nights featuring The Bays and Ashley Slater's Big Lounge; Nu-metallers, Sikth, with Django Bates' Human Chain and the Smith Quartet; the Mondriaan Quartet with a programme of John Zorn and a new instrument- the octachord.
There will also be a film and video documentary programme throughout the week, which includes a Domino Records showcase, Afro-Punk and Bill Laswell features, skateboard shorts and a rare Velvet Underground screening.
