The 41st Fylde Folk Festival takes place from Friday 2nd until Sunday 4th September 2011 at various venues Fleetwood, Fylde, Lancashire and promises to be a celebration of Folk Music Song and Dance. The Fylde Folk Festival attracts around 3000 people every year including festival & club organisers, agents, concert promoters, arts organisations etc who have come to enjoy the music and the friendly atmosphere in the various hotels, pubs and outdoor events.

Fylde always stages special musical or documentary events. ln 2011 these will be The Golden Dream Fleetwood's 175 Birthday Wind, Sail, Sea & Sky - A tribute by Alan Bell. Kipling - Bellamy & The Tradition.

Comperes :Ali O'Brien, Ron Baxter, Joe Boe, Hector Christie, Anne Green, Dave Jones, Mick Peat, Glive Pownceby, Pete Rimmer, Pat Ryan, Jim Smith.

Plus : Lancashire & Cheshire Clog Dance Contests, Lancashire Language Society Gathering, Worst Singer in the World Competition, and Young Performers Competition.

There will be over 120 different events taking place - music, dance, poetry and much more.

Venues

The festival venues are diverse, ranging in size from small personal rooms above local pubs to the Marine Hall seating over 700 people. The Marine Hall also houses the CAMRA award winning "WYRE LOUNGE" which features many popular real ales.

There are also various workshops held at Fylde.

Tickets

Weekend tickets are priced at £60. Tickets for children under 11 years old are free. Tickets for children aged 11 - 16 yrs are half price. To buy tickets, click here.



Camping

There is an additional fee of £10 per adult for Camp/Caravan site tickets which will only be on offer to weekend ticket holders.

Additional free services

Weekend ticket Holders also have access to free showers & swimming, free entry to Craft Fair, and a free festival bus service.
