The 11th Garforth Arts Festival takes place from Monday 29th June to Saturday 11th July 2015. There are more than 20 events taking place across 2 weeks, from gigs, to theatre, to dance and comedy so there is something for everyone.

Firmly established as a part of the city's annual cultural calendar, the festival brings a variety of music, dance, drama and comedy to the heart of Garforth.

Line up

The acts confirmed for the last day, The Playground Party, are The Brand New Heavies, Seth Lakeman, Femi Kuti & The Positive Force, The BBC Big Band Featuring Clare Teal, Ubunye, and Garforth Jazz Rock Band.

During the two weeks running up to the Playground Party there are numerous other events and activities taking place…

'Sing Freedom' accompanied by choirs including Free Range, Harmony (directed by Frances Bernstein), and Green Lane Primary Academy Choir - Wednesday 8th July, 7:30pm at Garforth Academy.

The Borealis Saxaphone Quartet - Saturday 4th July, 7:30pm at St Mary’s Church, Garforth.

Lullabies - The Singing Bowl by Manasamitra - Monday 6th July at 7:30pm at Chapel FM in Seacroft.

There will also be several events at the Garforth Working Men’s Club including 'My Generation - A celebration of 50 years of The Who' which will take place on Tuesday 30th June.

A single ticket for The Playground Party is priced at £26 (£22 concession - under 16 or over 60), a family ticket is priced at £61 (2 adults & 2 children under 16 OR 1 adult & 3 children under 16). Under 5s go free when accompanied by a paying adult.

During the two weeks running up to the Playground Party there are numerous other events and activities taking place which have not yet been announced.

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
