Gaunts Annual Summer Gathering 2009

Gaunts Summer Gathering is held from Thursday 6th until Sunday 9th August with visitors able to come from Wednesday 5th until Monday 10th to the tranquil Dorset country house setting, near Wimborne, Dorset.

There are no confirmed live music acts announced yet, although the Huckleberries and Praying for the Rain are TBC.

Everything is included in the entry price except your food, drinks and therapies. That means that Camping, Parking, Children's Tickets, Child & Teenage Programmes, Live Music, Workshops and Main Speakers are all free!

Tickets are priced at £75 for adults all inclusive, and £45 for teens (Prices do not include food). There is a 20% discount for people coming to Gaunts on any course in the first half of 2009 and their families, and a 20% discount for 'old Gaunts folk' and their families. Ticket price covers morning Tai Chi, Yoga, Dance, etc; Main Talks in the marquee; afternoon workshops; and evening entertainment. Book early, limited numbers. As well as live music and entertainment, there are free workshops, soothing alternative therapies, dancing each evening, funky stalls and home-made food, and activities for kids and teenagers.

This year there will be a large marquee to house the Main Talks and some of the evening dancing. There will be a Children's Disco each evening at 6pm. There will be 2 or 3 main seakers including Timothy Murphy. Somewhere there will be a massive Barn Dance.
